Our Story
People Forward Foundation was established in 2010 with a vision to create sustainable change in the lives of underserved communities across Odisha, India. What began as a small initiative with a handful of dedicated volunteers has now grown into a comprehensive organization addressing critical needs in health, education, environment, and community development.
Over the years, we have expanded our reach to over 50 villages, implementing sustainable solutions that empower communities to become self-reliant and resilient. Our approach focuses on participatory development, ensuring that community members are actively involved in identifying needs and implementing solutions.
With a dedicated team of professionals and volunteers, we work tirelessly to address the root causes of poverty and inequality, creating lasting positive impact in the lives of thousands of people. Our partnerships with local governments, businesses, and other NGOs have strengthened our ability to deliver effective programs that bring about meaningful change.

Our Achievements
Since our inception, People Forward Foundation has made significant strides in transforming lives across Odisha:
- Provided healthcare services to over 25,000 individuals through medical camps and mobile clinics
- Built or renovated 15 schools, improving educational access for more than 5,000 children
- Planted 50,000+ trees and restored 100 acres of mangrove forests
- Trained 2,000 women in various vocational skills, leading to economic independence
- Implemented clean water solutions in 30 villages, benefiting over 15,000 residents
- Received recognition from the State Government for excellence in community development
